Prayer of the Day
[David said] “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you.”
1 Chronicles 28:20
Almighty God, You are with us wherever we go and in whatever we do, and we see this most clearly in the giving of Your Son Immanuel. Grant us and our children a renewed awareness of Your presence with us as we go about our day, so that we can find strength and courage in You to do whatever You call us to. And, when we feel worried or anxious, help us to call to mind that You are always with us.
