Prayer of the Day
Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
James 5:20
Gracious Father, please enable and equip me to bring my children up in the training and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Grant me the grace, wisdom, and self-control to discipline my children in love when they do wrong, so that they will turn from the error of their ways. Help me to model for my children not just Your judgment, but also Your mercy. And help me to be always found praying for my children’s repentance, salvation, and sanctification, knowing that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective” (James 5:16).
