Prayer of the Day
Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
1 Timothy 6:6–8
Father in heaven, forgive me for not being contented in the good gifts that You have graciously given to me, and for my covetousness for what others have. I know I am prone to complaining instead of giving thanks and being grateful. Quell my complaining and covetousness heart, O Lord! Prompt me with Your Holy Spirit to count my blessings one by one, and to teach my children to do the same.
