Prayer of the Day
People will be . . . having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
2 Timothy 3:2–5
O God, while I may seem to be doing all the right things on the outside, You know the true state of my relationship with You. I seek Your forgiveness for the times I’ve been hypocritical, appearing godly while not seeking genuine communion with You. Help me to once again meditate on Your precious gospel, to abide in Jesus daily, and to persevere in walking by the Spirit. May I teach my children by the way I live, and show them that You do not look at our outward appearance, but at our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7).
