Prayer of the Day
A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Proverbs 17:22
Heavenly Father, help me to face each day with cheerfulness, for You are my strength and my portion, and I lack nothing. Grant me the grace to face what lies before me, whether childcaring, work, chores, or other service to You. Help me to bring joy into the conversations I have with others, so that people around me will be edified and encouraged. May I “rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances,” knowing that this is Your will for me in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18).
