Prayer of the Day
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.
Psalm 28:7
Lord, thank You for being our family’s strength and shield, and for enabling and protecting us throughout our days. I pray that my family will grow in trusting in You, for You are our Helper. Stir our hearts to worship, praise, and talk about You before our children in joy and thanksgiving, when we sit at home and when we walk along the road, when we lie down and when we get up (Deuteronomy 6:7).
