Prayer of the Day
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
Romans 12:17
O God, my sinful nature tells me to take revenge on those who hurt my children. Yet You tell us, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay” (Romans 12:19). Please grant me the wisdom and self-control to do what is right in Your sight and in the sight of others, especially my children. And show my children what radical love and forgiveness, as well as mercy and justice, looks like through my response.
