Prayer of the Day
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
—1 Corinthians 12:4–7
Lord, You gave each of us gifts so that we can serve others. I pray that You would use me to bless others, especially my child. Help me to be sensitive to Your call to participate in Your work, by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with my child. Open my eyes and ears to her needs. Give me an eager and generous heart to use my time, resources, and talents to point my child to You.
