Prayer of the Day
Though the fig-tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines . . .
yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Saviour.
Habakkuk 3:17–18
O God, You know the trials and tribulations that my family is facing this day. I confess that there are times when I doubt Your presence amid our sorrows and struggles. Help me to turn to Your Word and to recount Your faithfulness to us as a family, and to encourage my spouse and children to do the same. As we meditate on who You are and what You have done for us, may we learn to rejoice and be joyful in You, and to declare: “The Sovereign Lord is my strength” (Habakkuk 3:19).
