Prayer of the Day
Be careful not to forget the covenant of the Lord your God that he made with you; do not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything the Lord your God has forbidden. For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Lord, You know I love my child very much—sometimes too much—till I am willing to sacrifice my all for him to ensure his success. Forgive me if my child has taken Your place in my heart. I recommit to putting You first in my life. I recommit to raising this child for Your glory. May I always remember that children are a gift from You and my job is to bring them up to love and please You above all else.
