Encouraging Our Shepherds

Loving Shepherd, thank You for placing above us church leaders who teach, guide, and care for us tirelessly, often in unseen ways. Forgive us for the times we have been more critical than honouring of them. May we find ways to encourage and honour our pastors, elders, deacons, Sunday school teachers, and others who preach and teach Your Word in church—whether through words of affirmation or deeds of love. May we set an example to our watching children, so that they, too, will learn to honour the leaders You set above them.
