The Very Last

Lord of heaven and earth, I confess of my pride and arrogance, which can often surface in my thoughts, words, and deeds. Forgive me for thinking of myself as superior to others, and wanting to be the first and right all the time—whether it’s with my spouse, children, colleagues, or fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Humble me and renew my mind through Your living Word, so that I may grow in Christlikeness in the way that I think and relate to those around me. May my children see the way I love and serve others, and may they do the same, for Your glory.
