Prayer of the Day
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Lord, forgive me if I sometimes place worldly achievements above honoring you. No one can serve two masters, and I choose with all my heart to serve You, the true and living God, and not the idol of worldly success. It is far better to fear You than to fear the world. It is far better to please You than to strive for worldly success. Enable me to choose the security of eternal riches in heaven over the insecurity of temporal riches on earth.
