Prayer of the Day
As the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
Ephesians 5:24
Lord, I confess that it can be difficult to submit to my husband in everything, especially in matters where I think I am right. Yet You call me to submit to my husband as I would to You (Ephesians 5:22). Help me to lay down my pride and selfishness, and to respect and submit to my husband in a manner that pleases and glorifies You. May our marriage be a beautiful picture of the church’s loving submission to Christ before my watching children, so that they too will learn to submit to Christ in all things.
