Prayer of the Day
Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.”
John 8:31
Lord, I pray that my children, spouse, and I will hold fast to Your teaching as found in Your Word. May we not deceive ourselves by merely listening to the word without doing what it says, but may we be both hearers and doers (James 1:22–25). Please use me and my spouse as Your instruments to impart in our children a love for You and Your commandments. May we be faithful disciples in Your sight, amidst the noise, distractions, and temptations of this world.
