Prayer of the Day
[Jesus said] “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Mark 2:17
Gracious God, forgive me for the times I have thought of myself as more righteous than my spouse and children. I confess of my pride and conceit, and ask that You humble me this day as I meditate on Jesus’ words and His life. I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a Saviour, saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. Help me to show the same tender mercy towards my family when they sin, that I might point them towards our Saviour.
