Prayer of the Day
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4
Lord, You are with me in both the mountaintops and the valleys of life. And because of this, I need not fear anything, knowing that “neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate [me] from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38–39). Grant me the faith to face today and whatever it may bring with strength, hope, and comfort that can only be found in Christ.
