Prayer of the Day
The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart; whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others.
—Psalm 15:2–3
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
—1 John 1:8–10

Lord, it is not easy to admit when we are wrong, yet honesty and truth are what You want from Your children. Give my child the courage to admit to her mistakes and seek forgiveness from those she has wronged. I pray she will not blame others or keep silent if others are wrongfully accused. Help her value integrity even if no one is watching. Give her grace to bear the consequences willingly and not with anger and resentment. Help her build a reputation of honesty that is pleasing in Your sight.
