Prayer of the Day
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Lord, may my child learn to put her faith in You for her salvation. Enable me to faithfully teach her Your gospel and to be a good testimony in my actions. Give her a teachable heart and attentive ears. Reveal yourself to her so that she will know You. Convince her that she is a helpless sinner who needs a Savior. Help her understand only Jesus can save her. Help her trust in You. May the busyness of this world and the lies of the devil not keep her from a saving knowledge of You.
